Pretty much what the title says guys. I just want to hear from some riders who have them. We are making some multiple purchases and all getting the same set ups. I searched and cant find a thread like it. So wanted to start this one. Thanks in advance for the input!

Kits

You likely wouldnt go wrong with most of them, go with a reputable one that offers great customer service, preferably where you live. I would say Dave at Powderlites is probably one of the best guys to get ahold of.

Alpine turbo and love it! Go with a front mount, the response is reason enough. They have a 40l tank and seat combo, top notch customer service and some of the best setups for the deep snow. Always working on improving their product, and riding in the deep snow to do it.

Some companys are after being fast and how much hp their kit makes on the dyno, alpine makes power in the mountains and backs it up with numerous mountain shootout wins.

I always say try, then buy, and if you get a chance to do that side by side you will buy the alpine. All the kits are good, and the reliability of the nitro is awsome no matter what kit you chose. Good luck.

I hear john at customsled.ca is great.....LOL sory just couldnt resist.. My bondocker turbo is holding up well the only thing I would change on it is to get the self adjusting fuel box like the mcx... good luck.

This could be interesting, I am looking at getting a turbo and would like to get some information on turbos also. thanks

I would by the Impulse for a Nytro. I have seen them work and they run well. That being said, Paul offers great customer service should you need it. Good luck!!!!!!!!!

I can say Alpine has awsome customer service and i dont even have there kit! So whats that tell ya? :beer;

I have rode an Impulse, O'brians customs, and own a Boondocker. They are all great performing kits. Call all the shops, check out all the setups, and pick one you like. All of them are different in different ways. Whats important to you? Do you want more fuel? Do you want to have a soft seat? Fit and finish? Does front mount or rear mount matter? Pump gas setup? Costs?
All of these companies I believe run Garrett turbos, besides Dustin O'Brain who runs a Mistsubishi. All these places are trying to improve there setup, so dont get sucked into that. Some are more johny on the spot than others, and that may be important to you.
I would dare to say Alpine has more customers who spend the coin to make there sleds climb great than any other. Do the same with any other turbo kit and you will get the same results. I do like the looks of there kit as well though.

i like my impulse kit , the fuel controlers do suck compared to the MCX but thats my only complant .I d wait and see how the RB3 boxes work out they may make all the other fuel boxs a thing of the past by next year . another thing to consider while looking at turbos is what you get for youre dollar as in how complete the kit is . As far as i know alpine and impusle are the only kits you get a larger gas tank with with ( a 400$ touch on other kits ) . you may want to ask if you get a boost controler , A/F gauge , boost gauge ,mounting brackets and clutching. Id buy another impulse kit any day , its a complete kit with great customer service . i dont think you can go compleatly wrong with any kit out there right now some just have features others dont

Until someone makes a kit that is reliable as the MCX kit is, i'll being staying put. I like riding, not wrenching, tuning or repairing. :)

Is there a website for the impulse kit, I cant seem to find it on the web. Also how much does the impulse kit cost.

My determining factors of a turbo is I do not want to run race gas, I really dont care where it mounts. I do want the one with the least turbo lag and I would like the best throttle response. I also would like the kit to come with everything, I hate surprises when you have already spent a butt load of money.

You guys eat Swedish meat balls for breakfast??:face-icon-small-win I have a BD kit and no problems. There all working good Darko and i wouldn't say the mcx kit is any better than the rest for reliability or power.

You can say whatever you'd like, thats your opinion. BD's had limited kits out for less than 2 months, pretty tough to compare until its got lots of miles.

But, whatever argue as you may, Guess we'll see after all the kits have unbiased honest people on them for 2500 km's and compare then. I hope there all reliable, but i do know one thing the BD kit on an Apex wasnt even close to the reliabilty of the MCX. But, thats Apex's.......

Im not arguing by any means, its just always the same old, gas and go ,ride not wrench.....I do have a bd on a apex and not one problem by the turbo awsome power as well ,so ya gas and go i guess you would say. Dont get me wrong Darko i respect your thoughts on this forum and you have good input:) I just think there all realiable.:beer;

Hey, i like the same old "gas and go, no wrench". Kind like an old saying "if it isnt broke, dont fix it" lol.

Keyboard race....... vrooooom vroooomm....;)
