And today it burns down one of the cylinders. It cut one of the best riding days of the year short. Man this sucks.:mad::mad::mad::mad:
Any one else have any problems?

Sorry. You can't win them all. I think it happens with each and every brand. Just a friday sled. I have had great luck with my 09m8 I love it. 400 miles on it in the last 3 weeks and those are hard miles. I figured I would try to kill the thing before summer so if it does break I have time for the dealer to fix it right.
 
Make sure your dealer put all the heat shields on with the reflash. That air temp sensor can pickup all the extra heat and lean the fuel out.
 
Sorry to hear of yer troubles. I too got the reflash, but I run the koso egts as well. Alll my sleds get the options of pyros stock or mod. Im to lazy to check plugs its easier to watch temps. The only burn downs Ive had in the last 5 seasons are from a cooked primary clutch on the trail ride out and a miled out motor. Egt's aren't cheap but are worth it in the long run. Yesterday I had a digitron wire get burnt out on a hot pipe on my m9 BB. I had to unplug the power to my digitron and felt blind. My very first knowledgeable option was to add 25 % more fuel to the whole fuel map via pure logic box. I rode the whole day still (blind) with a slight bog but no burn down. The best part is warranty will get you a new jug and pistons. And yer out of a ride for a couple weeks. Chin up fella and by some KOSO egt's.................

Is this remap you guys are talking about for the 09 M8 because the dealers up here don't have nothing for me. My HCR is running really rich.

Do you think the dealer that did the re-flash should or would help me out? I just bought the sled and I don't think it has any warranty?
 
What were the particulars on the sled you bought? What sled ws it I assumed you had an 09 something? If you bought a used sled you might be hooped. Most sleds from the las t2 years should still have warranty. The reflash is an AC thing so I would say yah there should be warranty. I dont think Sled shops just build programs, well some extreme shops do. The programs are sent from AC to the dealers and then installed. For the 09 update for my 09 m1000 I had to send my ecu right to AC. As my dealer isnt capable of the reflash yet. Look into the warranty thing, I would be pizzed if I bought a sled from a dealer, got a reflash and then melt down. If he wants yer business he will go out on a limb for ya. I wouldnt shop there again unless. My dealer treats me pretty good so I jus have every second paycheck forwarded to his shop. LOL

Considering you have an 07. My guess is you are on your own. No warranty.

Like others have already said and IMO don't run your sled without guages. EGT or A/F

if you do not have mods then I would expect the dealer that reflashed it and AC should be held responsible, if you have mods your screwed. This has been happening every time there is a reflash. anyone with mods that gets a reflash and doesn't jump through the hoops of retuning the sled is going to have problems. And the 09 reflash is different than what the 09's came with.
