Online Belts?

I just called the local dealer and they want $178 for belts. Anyone know of a cheaper place to buy online? I hate to sidestep a dealer but it seems he is milking me for more than he should. I know those Kevlar belts are pricey, but wow! I thought I paid $158 or so from the dealer I bought my sled from.

Keep in mind that dealers dont make much profit from belts. Think about all the different ones they ahve to stock and that takes overhead..take the overhead away from the small profit..throw in there business taxes etc..into the overhead and there isnt much wiggle room. Get a bunch of guys together and find out what you can get if you buy 100 belts from one dealer...now theres a thought.

I run XS809's and am happy with them. They will burn up easier but with the one year warrantee for 10.00 you get a new one...I like how they grab better...a new one coming down hill will surprise you if you are not ready.

you can run a dayco belt part # XTX5020 you can buy them online for around $90. some will say they are not the same but my dragon and pro both hold rpm better with this belt. i have over 2000miles between my two sleds and have not blow the belts

I also run the Dayco XTX5020 with great results.

Well this dealer must be making some money because he is over $30 more than everyone else.
