yup, he knows now.. i called him this morning and told him i felt bad having to give him the info, he was greatful and said "your my bud, thats whhat your supposed to to" and that he would do the same..

long story short:
supposed to go on a weekend trip with a buddy and his wife in a couple weeks.. she was supposed to see if she could get the time off of work. i was supposed to get an answer from her a week and a half ago.. couldnt get an answer from him (hes out of town right now for work).. i text her at about 1pm today asking if she got the time off.. no response until 10pm tonite saying "my day was great, where are you baby, can you come see me?"... holy chat, what do i do, its clearly not meant to be a text to me.. im sure its supposed to be to someone else.. but, obviously not him as hes out of state..
Seems ODD to me that you say you couldnt get an answer from him (hes out of town right now for work).. So YOU Text HER??? But Yet u got a hold of him 2 times after the Text

ugh... I've been there. Catching your friends ol' lady doing something she shouldn't be sucks. Puts you in a tough situation, but HE'S your friend, not her, and she is clearly in the wrong. You did the right thing!

A guy that used to be my neighbor was suspecting his wife of cheating. He told me this one night and asked if he could borrow my garage to hide out in since it was right across the street. I said sure, well he laid the ground work that he had business to be gone on for 3 days. The very next afternoon a garbage truck pulls up and the guy gets out with a bottle wine and heads in. It got ugly quick and his x-wife still hates me to this day. Would I assist in this again..heck yes.

What a horrible situation to be in but you did the right thing. They will probably get back together for a short time and you will be out the window temporarly but in the end he will be your bud for life.
I've been in your position before and it sucks. I told my friend and so did you. Sounds like the right move to me. The way I see it, he is your friend and she is the baggage that comes along with his friendship. Your loyalty is to him, not her.
Good job backing up your buddy. If he's smart, he'll lay low and gather further evidence. What he gathers now for evidence will mean keeping more of his stuff when she get's punted. Who cares what she thinks of you. She's cheating, got caught and has to own up to it.
