The tech threads are worth more then a membership fee….so my choice is simple
That's my fear though... that the guys with the majority of the knowledge will bail because they don't want Snowest making money off of their knowledge. The amount isn't the issue for some that I have talked to, it's more the principle behind it all.

Did anyone sign a waiver as to copyright exemption on their tech info? Intellectual property laws are designed to avoid peeps pirating others info! I know of a very good copyright lawyer and for SW to deny access to old posts (for the originating author) is a complete end run around copyright law! I also know someone that is a member of ASCAP (american society of composers and publishers) and this is exactly what ASCAP is trying to protect. The only way they can legally deny access to the originating author is to BUY THE RIGHTS! Or so I am told.

So true. The bad thing also is they don't like being Moderated.
I honestly like some Moderation cuz we refresh while passing by the Laptop and always have kids around. Plenty of other sites to get your inappropriate girly fixes. Guess that's why I don't go to fouled plug. If they get their speeds up to snuff I'll stick around. I've heard #'s like $10 a year. Pretty sure I could work that into the budget if it keeps all these good peeps united.
Always better to fight land issues as a big group too.
I'm on the other site haven't used it yet though. I'm gonna ride out the storm, I was wondering if it would be 10 a year for you and GP or 10 a piece? Something to look into for multiple user households.
Hope I can still find threads full of Utards and blue bike riders next year on here.

X, from my understanding, the $10 a year charge would be per household.

We will figure out some way to only charge ONCE per household. Not sure how we are going to do it, but we will figure it out.
Funny. $10??? That's all for a year? I think that's cheap. We wouldn't have a problem paying per person. Heck I pay $20 dollars a year for two other forums I don't use as much as this one. I find that much $ in the laundry.

just to be able to track and get the word out on Avy issues... Every time I hear of a slide I'm glued to the forum until I know none of you are involved.
Beyond that some of you are the funniest people I know.. and I need a laugh now and then. It's also nice to see what you're up to, the photos and videos of your days out and bust on the guys that get stuck or hit trees..
oh. and see who Hector is doing up their backside
