Nytro Info Please! Come to my senses? Mb?

We are currently experiencing problems fitting our tank on MCX equipped Nytros. Please do not order if you are running the MCX turbo kit until we have made appropriate changes.

And 325$ for an added 3.5g . . I'm afraid it may be worth my time and energy to buy some eye bolts and strap my current can to the back instead.. I was thinking maybe $150ish... H3ll, I put a clear 11g tank on my ZX way back in the day for $60 or so.

Thanks for the link none the less. :)

I do not like the weight on the back of my sled when riding, have the new larger tank, and love it...keeps weight centered, dont run an MCX so not an issue for me....but they are reconfiguring their tank mold to accomodate...

The price is a little steep, but for me, it is GREAT to not have to even think about fuel, gas and go...i had 70 VERY hard powder miles on this weekend, 3-5 WOT pulls around 2 minutes, and still had 2 bars on the fuel gauge when back at teh truck...

so, for me way worth it!!!

When/if I go boost, will have to address the tank issue, but who knows...for now, just letting sled dial in, and then make that decision...but for now, sled runs stronger every time out...and am very happy with it!!!

Rotax,

No need worrying about the Trail Tank/MCX compatibility. Seth (trail tank) has my sled as I type this and is in the process of having a new tank molded to accomodate the charge tube on the MCX kit. New tank will be available very soon, probably before you need the tank even.

I can't give you a comparison between skidoo and yami...but I can tell you that I have a sled that turns heads, sounds damn cool (why does your sled whistle), has more power than anything on the hill at any given time, and will bring me back to the truck after every ride. (Just in case SilverGriz chimes in :p...his XP did tow me out after my chain decided to fragment in my chaincase.)

The last obvious statement I'll make is: It's only money, you'll make more tomorrow! :beer;

Yamaha in the family?

Can I ride with a guy (a son) who rides a Yamaha? You bet!! Probably wouldn't have said that back in the day. But you know what? It's about the riding and trying different things anyway. I definately will be looking forward to free boost rides from time to time and who knows, maybe rotax won't mind a two stroke ride every now and then either. Sounds like a fun off-season, hope to be out in the end of May.
