I never quite understood the 1/2 empty/full thing.

Being a pragmatist (realist) you have a certain amount remaining in the glass. Period!

the beer is not a container...so it can not be possibly full or empty...now if you would have asked if the beer glass was half full...that as well would be wrong as the glass is not made of beer...now please ask if the glass is half full of beer or half empty..well i would say that it would be half full...but then that could be wrong as the glass is not half beer...but is the cavity created by the shape of the glass filled half with beer..??...well who cares..
