New Track

Hey guys thinking about putting a different track on my Nytro just wondering which track would be best? Thanks in advance guys.

I would go with a challenger extreme, 162 or 153 X 15 X 2.25 with a 3" pitch. From what I "hear" the 2.5 inch lug will actually decrease your performance because it fits so tight. I'm curious as to what other people think about the taller lug.
The power claw has a lot of hype but by the looks of it people are changing back to the CE.

Would consider an CE 2.5" and cut of 0.25" of the lugs if it's for an boosted Nytro atleast, it has harder compound rubber then the CE 2.25", i've seen more shaved off lugs on the CE 2.25" track then on the 2.5" track.
How does an Power Claw work for boosted sleds?
Heard that single ply tracks doesent work so well on boosted sleds, is that true?

been extremely happy with my powerclaw. works great and its tough, 2 seasons and no lug damage @ 18lbs.

Another vote for the PowerClaw. Great track. Works great in all conditions. No damage after 2 seasons on the snow 1 with boost. I went with the 153. I find that length to be a little more nimble in the trees. That's just my personal preference though.

I have the CE 162x2.5 on my T-Nytro and seems to work great. The only problem I have is holding on when the turbo kicks in!

No trouble with ratchening with the Power Claw?
As i said earlier, heard/read alot of people having trouble with the PC because they say it stretch under acc, on Apex tho, but!?!?
Have not dared try an PC because of that.

Have a PC on my Apex running boost without any issues. Runs strong and hooks up great. Almost 2000 miles this season.

I haven't had any issue with the PC and ratcheting. I will admit though, that I'm not running huge boost numbers either. I have the MCX 180 kit on mine and don't have any complaints.

No I haven't noticed any stretching issues what so ever. I have run it in all snow conditions @ 18lbs boost. tough track, I do run it tight though.

i ran the powerclaw for half this season on my nytro and was dissapointed. the powerclaw is overrated imo. it was also showing signs of falling apart after 200 miles. went to 2.5 extreme and love it. this is stock nytro NOT turbo riding deep powder.

You guys running the CE have 153 or 162??
what about going 16" wide?
had a 144x16 on my Viper and really liked it

What or where were the main differences found?

Deep powder?
Setup spring type snow?
Hard pack?

Sidehilling?
Hillclimbing?
Braking?

You mind writing a full report on the subject? lol

I've run a PC on my stock Nytro for two full seasons, no issues what so ever. It deffinately works well for my sled and our type of snow. Huge improvement.
