New track

Reports so far from friends running things have been

300lx seems to be the best all around and price is also a lot mor3 approachable then 3.25.

3.25 is a close second and if sled comes with it not worth changing.

2.75 is worth upgrading as for most guys will provide legit bang for your buck performance increase relative to a lot of "go fast" parts.
Anyone care to chime in about how a 3" Powerclaw stacks up in the hierarchy? I know they were well liked a few years ago and I just bought a used 9R with one.

I removed my 155 - 300LX last year and tried a 165 composit for awhile.

Going back to a 155 - 325 after riding a few 2024's with it last season. (Paid $1545 OTD for it locally)

In my experience More of an all around track vs the 300Lx.

(300LX was a wheelie trencher)

325 is more of a climb on top and gain speed.

The 3” PC is a great track. If it’s already on the sled, I’d keep it.

Probably will but I'm not sure what size, number and pattern yet.
I was considering the freeride track for my 155 since it's ported. The 300LX gets around really well but it does hold onto snow more. I might get another and port it this time to save money since it's about $500 cheaper than the freeride. What are you going to use to port it? I was considering a 1/2" hole saw, doing 2 holes in line then using a razor to turn them into an elongated window between each rod.

I have a Powerclaw on my boost. It seems like a really good track overall. Downside is weight. It’s heavy.

It provides a quite a bit of front end lift, but also gets up on the snow and goes relatively quick. Seem like a good all around track.

Rode a 300LX last year in snow with no solid base underneath- pow on sugar, and it really struggled with getting moving in those conditions vs 275, 325, and Powerclaw

I was thinking about doing the same thing. Maybe just two rows of ports instead of three, but slightly wider than the skidoo track ports. Thought about hole saw then sharp chisel or razor. I'm not sure how hard or easy the track will cut.

Tracks cut easier than you think. I center ported my X3 165” by hand with an olfa knife.
