Is a stock 09 MTN sled as good as a 3, 5, 10 year old Full Mod sled??

depends entirely on the rider. OEM sleds apply to a wider range of riders than mods do, seems like you build em to do one thing. My 1200 climbs a lot better than the new stockers do, and its 10 years old this year, but you can't turn it unless you're going 60mph so its no boondocker. So for me I love my sled because I like to ride aggressively and fast, nothing too technical unless its super deep. If it is technical, I'd leave the mod at home and take my 800 escape any day.
