New "PRO RMK" unveiled

I waffled mine right where the black support bar for the running boards bolts into the tunnel and I am not the only one to do that. I have never wrecked it and I don't do big jumps. Don't know how it happened and i'm not the only one it's happened to. I just don't think they are going to hold up when you get down to 430lbs. Shedding all that weight means less strength for sure. I have 700 miles on an 08 Dragon and the black support bars are already sagging, I ride at 200lbs max full gear. I now have to find a fix or do I just buy the same weak crap for $1200 from Polaris. Atleast it's two piece so I don't have to tear it all apart to fix. I really enjoy the Dragon but the chassis is getting weaker every year.
dang, that is no good. Good to hear an accurate report of the problems though. Thanks!!

Well since I am one of the two guys that have complimented the performance of my 800cfi in this thread so far, Ill tell you that I have no intentions of getting rid of my 2010. Why would I get rid of one of the best performing NA/stock bore sleds Ive ever seen run? Ill be buying the 2011 and putting it in the stable beside its older bro. Figured id explain it since you found it so funny. cheers

Make sure you buy a matching modular helmet to keep those cheeks warm doing 70 mph on the trails in the frigid air of Minnesota....cheers

Modular helmet........70mph.........trails..........frigid air.........MINNESOTA? dude WTF are you talking about? The same guys come on her everyday and say how much their sled sucks (and alot of them for good reason) but mine runs good and I cant mention it even once? Youre being an idiot man and theres no need!

tree..its the same lower end that has been pretty bullet proof the last 3 seasons..that has a new topend, fuel system, ignition, exhaust and some other things...my source has been riding and wrenching it for quite a while..160+ hp...and dominates the 10 sleds everywhere....

That would be encouraging... I'm wishing Polaris my best on this one, I want to see them back on top of the game again.

Aero has the turbo kit out already for the 600 Rush..im sure their working on the 800 kit now..

I dont care for the 600 chassis, but i would LOVE to wreck the 800 :face-icon-small-hap

BWAAAhahahahaha. Always looking on the up and up as usual:D:D:beer;

Here are some pics of the new RMK.......I really like the look of it. I think because it looks like a REV which is still my favorite chassis to date.:face-icon-small-hap
The last is a quick overlay I did to see what I mean.:face-icon-small-coo

about time...

This is the first good lookin' RMK to come out since the '98 700. It is way meaner lookin' than the any of the current Polaris'.

The changes for the mountain version have actually really grown on me... not near as ugly as the short tracker:face-icon-small-sho

Funny, I was just thinking with a windshield that small that this is going to be a "cold" sled to ride:face-icon-small-sho

Check out this link. the IQ boondock bumper and wideboard kit should be a much stronger and cheaper alternative for you. have it powdrecoated whatever color you like and it will look amazing. Sorry about your luck

I think it looks sick!!..anyway i was also hoping for a new motor this year that could hold up with the cats and still go 10 miles without cracking down..maybe to much to ask for but it looks bright..

hmm

I wonder if they did do some adjusting to the engine, I heard it had more ponies, any more info on that????????

I'll be at the Sealy lake Demos next thursday (moved from Whitefish/Olny).... Hope to have lots more details then.

I hope the pre EPA version of this CFI-2 motor is close to the production version.

hmm

2 injectors/cylinder eh, that's a good thing.

Can anyone be at this demo deal?
Or is it a dealer deal, or a need to know someone deal?

I must not know anyone?

Anyone else notice they've changed back to the LW Team secondary? Problems with the P2 and Team Tied?

If this engine is showing to be reliable and it comes with a 144 suspension i think i will get one.

Wondering when Polaris will let their hp numbers out...and when DTR wil get their claws in a Pro800 :)

I like the snow evacuation boards and how they redesigned the toe area.
It seems like you will be able to push the snow to the outside of the toe area.
Unless they have their side panels covering it.
With the 7lb reduction in can weight.... maybe all you will need is a PC5 and your good to go.

How many with a 800CFI will buy this sled with an 800CFI in it? Just wondering because the chassis may be enough for me to take a risk with the motor.

Hoping to ride it on the 28th then snowcheck one on the 29th! I will deal with my wife when it shows up around August or so!:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-sho:painkiller::doh:

Very REV-like in appearance and the design of the chassis.....and I mean that as a compliment, the REV had some very nice characteristics! Looks good.
