New guy and I crashed my sled!

Well ran into a culvert on a '03 340 Classic. It bent the trail arm and popped out a rod that seemed to attach to the trail arm in rectangle box. I am sure that made no sense. But if it did is this some thing that would be cheap and easy to fix myself?

Thanks

Pretty easy to replace. Sounds like the ball joint popped off at the back of the T/A? IIRC a new T/A will include a new ball joint. You may have bent the bolt also, I have straightened a couple over the years.

easiest fix is to just go buy that new 700 or 800 edge you are talkin about haha :)

I believe the rod you are referring to is the sway bar. When you put on a new trailing arm just put it back where it belongs. There should be a plastic block it fits into. See page A13 part number 30 in this link. http://pi54.com/corp/manuals/Parts/9917786.pdf
