Well I just picked up an 05 1M 900 Kingcat EFI. Its the orange titanium 162 one. It is my backup sled but I`m excited to take her out for a spin. Just thought I would share. I heard these worked ok.

There's a lot of good information in this section about these sleds. The stickies at the top (btw, anyone have a problem with how those are set up? Seems some don't like having many stickies in some of the other sections...) have a lot of good information about popular mods and some maintenance issues.

What's your primary sled?

Yup been reading all of them to see what little things can be done. It already has the bar risers, big wheel kit and and a can on it.

My primary sled is turbo rx1. That`s why I was wondering about a turbo kit for this one. Not right away but maybe an option down the road. I can`t wait to try it out this weekend though.I remembered when they first came out and wanted one love the look. It took 5 years but it finally happened. :D

Shawn since ur new to cat u prob don't know much about these sleds, I rode cat all my life and still do, in my opinion I wouldn't turbo a kingcat that's to old of iron and to many companies are focusing on the new m series. There way more dependable and not as heavy as the kingcat, that's my opinion on it u can do what u want. But since your new thought I would give u a heads up and put u on the path I think would be right. But sure glad to see you ride a cat now, why didn't u stay with yamaha and turbo a nitro or apex when they came out? Not many people riding the turbo rx1 anymore are there?
