New Burandt approved pure polaris accesories

I assume these boards install like airframes, why wouldn't someone buy airframes instead?

My understanding is that boards like airframes would void your warrenty if your tunnel tinfoils, bends etc.. or something...(someone fill me in if im wrong).

If you run pure polaris acc your warrenty is still good cuz its polaris's product.

looks like solid tunnel bag finally im on my 3rd one this season already.

Well we will have to cut our boards anyway!? I would assume we would maybe have a different way of mounting it, if that is even possible.

Because up until a month ago they were the mythical Unicorn (nobody had them and nobody could find them). But the concept is that your dealer adds them and warranty's them as part of the sled package. Also, you don't have to cut up as much as you do with Airframes.

Skinz should have had their ducks in a row a long time ago.

Well that settles that. One Heavy duty black set of Better Boards for sale for the Pro. Brand new never installed! PM me

Check swap meet for details

Yep, sorta glad I held off on buying different "boards" for my '11 now..

Hopefully the price is decent from Pol.
Hopefully install is a little simpler than what I saw from the Skinz.

And adding some 'black' would look very cool to the natural aluminum.

Yea... the new stuff is pretty cool... got a good look with the marketing people at the demo...

The running Boards are well done and will be able to be retrofit to the new sleds or to the previous model year Pro Chassis RMK's.

They are constructed from extruded 6060-T6 aluminum...the snow clean-ou than these is phenomenal and the pow coat (may be E-coat) will make them even more ice resistant. For you huckers and people that really "put the hurt" to the sled..these will be just what you are looking for... PLUS the added benefit of being a Polaris approved accessory that will not void your chassis warrantee if installed correctly. The standard boards are excellent.. but for those of you that want the color and HD features over the ultimate in weight savings... these will be very affordable.

•• Extruded aluminum design with a machined profile
•• Secure front and rear attachment with castings that are adhesive bonded
•• Designed for quick snow evacuation and to prevent ice build-up
•• Outer support tube is integrated along the full length of the running board extrusion
•• Removable and serviceable running board assembly
•• Stronger than formed sheet metal boards

PRICING is not released till after the dealer meeting.
They can be ordered with your snow check and will be available through your dealer early fall. I have a feeling there will be a lot of demand for these... so if you want them... Order them sooner rather than later.

The Lock and Ride bag

I'm a HUGE fan of the OGIO stuff in the first place... This one looks to be a solid offering from Polaris to me... easy to take on and off which allows you to pack it up in the house or defrost it after a long day of riding. The base of the pack is heat sealed plastic...much like their luggage... so that a "sloppy" tunnel does not soak everything in the bag.

There are some other must haves coming up as well that you will see rolling out this week too :gossip:

I wonder if the new gussets (45degree'ish rear piece) will also be required to bridge these new boards at the rear to the tunnel? It looks to be a different part than the 11's or 12's. The extra width of these boards may play into this as well. Any idea MH?

The new boards look awesome, but I saw Madfab's plastic inserts in action and they work awesome with no cutting at all. I'm guessing that they are way cheaper than the Poo ones as well.

If you look at the two pictures do you notice the retrofit boards for the 11s and 12s the cleats look to be twice as wide as the ones that come on the 13?

If they are twice as wide as the 13 boards I might just go with airframes depending on the cost of the polaris boards. That is if I decide to keep the 12 anyways.

Well if you have been paying attention to the pictures polaris has released then you know that the new boards on the 2013 are riveted on and are not all part of the tunnel, and also in mountainhorse's post "•• Removable and serviceable running board assembly". So why spend so much money on airframes and waiting around for them and having to install some form of traction on them when you can pop your stock boards off and stick these directly in there place. And, as mentioned, you get to keep your warranty. The new stock boards are already gonna be stronger and evacuate more snow than any stock sled on the market, so why are you worried about cutting them off before the sled is even anywhere near production?

Who in the flying **** cares if Chris Burandt approves what ****ing tunnel bag I have ....? Really?

The "Burandt" boards are a Heavy Duty version. I am sure both versions will be available to order either as an accessory or a replacement part.

polaris is really stepping it up. The burandt comments crack me up! You have one of the best in the industry, working hand in hand with a manufacturer, coming up with quality products, that are warranty compliant, that are going to be pushing the competition to build better stuff and yet SOMEHOW people STILL come up with a way to hate on that?? FACEPALM!

IMO Polaris should offer these boards as snowcheck incentive...
Itll help them sell more 13s
