Went for a mostly road ride yesterday, about 50 miles of road riding and 10 miles off trail when we got up high enough where the rocks weren’t as bad, AWESOME boots, very comfortable most comfortable boot I have ever had. Very light but still plenty of support very nice boots Thanks Snowday

So, the HMK boots that I got back in 2003 have finally run their course and I am in dire need of a new pair. I have been looking at the new HMK's with the BOA lace system and also the Klim boots. Which ones have you guys used and do you prefer???

I have a pair of HMK Focus Boa's I love them, they are so comfortable and give the perfect amount of support, they are just really spendy, but they are worth the money!!

i have had the klim adrenaline,s for about 4 years and they started to let water in the last year but they were excellent boots. i just bought a pair ofpowerfist stompers and i have to say so far i am very impressed, they fit and feel good right off the bat which means no break in time, they are light and look great, time will tell how they hold up but at this poiunt i am very impressed.

I've owned HMK and Klim boots. I buy a pair of boots every couple years generally and have sworn by Klim my last couple pairs. Anyway I went with the Motor Fist boot this year and I absolutely love them. They are more comfortable than Klim or HMK's and light as hell. Very happy with my decision to make the switch, you will not be disapointed with the Motor Fist boot.

I will say if the motorfist had the boa system It would be the perfect boot, plus it is the only one with a replaceable sole so in theory a guy should never have to replace them! And motorfist has that sweet bluebird warranty! I just hated how bulky my HMK boots felt I always had a hard feeling the sled and jumping around! Plus you can't beat $199.99!

I am on board with that. After having the BOA I don't know if I could go without it even though the Motorfist boots look like they have been designed taking in account all the issues with the typical boot these days. Heel and toe wearing out from kicking snow and sole wore out from the same and the running boards of today eating the sole up. They also have the thin light profile that seems to be a winner. Again if they had the BOA they would be the real ticket.

For guys that hav ethe motorfist boots what size didyou purchase? Do they run big or small I am a 10-1/2 and was wondering if the 11 is the way to go

They fit a little small. If you are 10.5, get the 11 for sure.
