whats the bumper to bumper distance on that sled? im trying to compare it to my old sled, im about to buy that 155 assault.

My Assault with the 5.1 also came with the grey panels even though I was under the impression it was the red ones that were stock? Not really an issue as I prefer the grey actually...
Can't wait to ride this ****er!! Glad to have it early so i don't miss anything but damn it sure sucks waiting for the snow!!

Ya morning wood in the afternoon hahaha. Haven't been this excited for snow in years. Rode the Assault on a demo last spring the suspension's adjustability is the best I've run across on a stock sled. is there better out there? I'm sure, but it's going to be a heap better than anything I've owned so thumbs up here!!
The bumper to bumper measurement is almost exactly 10ft. From back of bumper to front of ski 131".

He would be mistaken. My measurements are correct. Bumper to bumper = 120". Overall length of sled is 131". It's a 155, what is the surprise??
In any normal situation, the ski sticks out further than the front bumper......

I'd put my money on your numbers, fast. I remember that the SBA is supposed to be 126" overall (144" track).

I hope I don't run into this. John is my salesman at moon. I talked to him last week about my sled which is supposed to be here nov 4. I bought a set of LE panels for my pror sb. I'm goin nuts seeing all you guys gettin your rides
Picked mine up on friday. It had the gray colored panels on it when i got there. There was another assault w/electric start in there with the red/black panels. Dealer did some checking, and it seems that assaults with the electric start get the red/black panels. We talked and he agreed to pull the panels off the e-start sled and swap them with mine.

I picked up my Assault tonight. 5.1 with switchback seat.
Still waiting on the windshield and accessory panels. For some odd reason and my dealer Moon Motorsports doesn't know how it happened, but the assault shipped with grey panels. It should have come with the std panels. I did order the grey accessory panels for my 2011 assault, but should have received it with the white/red panels. Actually doesn't look too bad, but looks better with the std panels. My 2011 will look great with these panels!
