May be the case. Though, they have difficulty even getting motor to turn over. I think they are trying to start with arms rather than the body. Kind of moot at this point as I have the ES installed on the SBA.

Called my dealer about my panels being grey. He talked to Polaris and their response was..."if the assault was ordered with powder track, it got grey panels". WTF, where was that documented?? Like ordering nav package on my white truck and they change it to black. Now I like black, but it is not what I ordered. He is going to look into it further.
That'll pi$$ me off. My dealer said himself that they got no change notice about this and I didn't receive any documentation. I'm curious if I get the same story. Keep us posted on what you find out. The grey doesn't look bad but if I wanted grey I would have ordered it ya know? We'll see I guess. Need. Snow.

I like the white!! Same panels I got (also ordered the gray assault panels for my SBA), but they are "backordered" according to the dealer. I got the SB seat as well. Our sleds are twins! almost...what is the sticker on the nosecone?
thats the sticker from the stock Assault graphics... if thats what you're talking about.

I like that alot... maybe i'll end up just peeling the graphics off and coming up with something red to put on the bottom... that looks really sharp. Hm, still plenty of time to sit in the garage and tinker
Haha...how funny is that, I've got the same damn sled and didn't realize it was a stock sticker. Guess it looked odd with the white panels!
Well, I heard back today about the panels. No info on why they didn't communicate the change, but indeed. The 5.1s came with grey panels. They are going to correct the problem, but because of production schedules, they won't have the red/white panels available until Nov. Not a big deal, but it shouldn't have happened. Offered a case of oil for my troubles if I keep the grey ones...hummm.
Hhmm.... thanks for the info. i should hear back from my dealer too soon...

That is a good question. My situation is somewhat unique because I actually ordered new accessory grey panels for my '11 SBA. The plan was to send back the ones that I ordered. Now if I didn't order them, what would they do? I don't know. I can't imagine that they would want the old "used" panels, but I wouldn't expect my dealer to eat the cost either. I'll ask my dealer. Maybe Polaris will let me keep them for all my pain and suffering
just set up our first assault rmk with the 5.1 track today. It had the grey pannels on it. We also had a switchback assault with the 2" track and es come with gripper skis.
picking up mine tomorrow, just allitle excited
Got my windshield, hand guards and White Pro panels. IMO, this is the best looking combo out there!!
