I picked up my Assault tonight. 5.1 with switchback seat.

Still waiting on the windshield and accessory panels. For some odd reason and my dealer Moon Motorsports doesn't know how it happened, but the assault shipped with grey panels. It should have come with the std panels. I did order the grey accessory panels for my 2011 assault, but should have received it with the white/red panels. Actually doesn't look too bad, but looks better with the std panels. My 2011 will look great with these panels!

December seems like A LONG time away :face-icon-small-fro

Rumor on here was the $300 accessory panels came in addition to the stock panels...maybe that wasn't how it worked????

I was assured tonight that it was just a mistake. I will be getting the white/red panels. I also ordered the white pro RMK 800 panels that aren't in yet. Wasn't sure I'd like the std crazy panels, but they actually look good now that I'm used to them.

My snow check build sheet said.

-RMK Assault white wrap, Powder (meaning 5.1 track)
-Switchback Seat
-Gray accessory panels
-White RMK panels.

Not exact words, but each were listed individually. The accessory panels were separate and had itemized cost. Everything else was part of the sled cost.

I'm not worried, there is plenty of time to work it out.

Humm...yeah wonder what is going on. My ship date was Sept 6th. It was ready to pickup on the 9th. Granted, I'm only 5 hrs from Roseau, but...

I also installed the grey panels on my '11 SB Assault. It looks great with the grey seat! I'll post a picture.

Now time to install ES on my SB Assault, so the wife and kids can start it when we ride together. Can anyone elses wives/GFs start their 800? I think it is more technique then strength, but they cant get it. Even tried again last night when it was warm out and they can't even get one rev. If you are ever even remotely considering getting ES, do it when you order the sled. MSRP is close to $700 ($550ish discounted) with battery and I have to install it still. $400 at snowcheck time with battery.

So from what I've gathered, you have an extra set of side panels from the 11? You keeping them or selling them?

That looks pretty good. I was thinking of doing the same on my 2011 SBA. Thanks for sharing....
