That is fine and dandy, but for all the losers that rep for the sake of repping
. I make a comment that gets a certain group member's panties in a wad, and I get a surge of bad reps, then I post that I like red and then I get green.. It is a joke.
IIf not, just scrap it. I believe it is a chapter in the book of why many long timers have left.
Well said.
NOTE:
PLEASE DONT REP ME. I value my one lonely green dot. I think I'm the only one on this post ranked so "low", and will be torked if one of you goomba's raise it, as it is now an oddity on snowest and I'm proud of it.
I think the mega green reps in most cases are a joke.
1.) I personally place no credibility on the Rep shown for an individual. The "rep me" in max post for example beg credibility. (post counts somewhat apply here too.) You should earn it by offering helpful info in response to a post. 1 rep at a time, no matter what, if at all.
2.) If I see high rep, as a result of rule 1, I automatically suspect it was earned by post whoring, not withstanding those who are truly helpful (or knowledgeable) and are older than dirt on this site like Sawyer, F-bomb, ect. (okay, admittantly, that may earn me some red.) Holy crap, I get some of my best comic relief off this site though.
3.) If you honestly base your purchasing decisions on someones rep points on snowest, your a moron. scratch that. I'll get red rep for sure now. Politically correct revision: "your far too trusting."
Check thier post history.
4.) "posting since" 1944 or whatever the date you joined would have more meaning.
5.) Who cares. Once it snows this won't matter. Then we can get back to the important stuff, like brand bashing.
6.) Don't rep me. I like my one dot.
