So I have the avalanche tools, avy classes and first aid/cpr training(through my work requirement). I have a cpr mask in my coat pocket and I am looking for a first aid/survival kit. There appearers that there is a need for a snowmobile related kit. I have found some through what I consider to be non-snowmobile friendly sites, but they seem to be fairly large and bulky.
Band-aids and gauze kits are good(what I have) but are pretty minimal in care for what can happen with a sled in the backcountry. I am looking too piece one together keeping it to what I consider to be a complete "petite" size that will fit in my pack. But I wish there was a pre assembled kit through a motorsport supportive site. Is there one?
Here is what I am considering, any additions and/or subractions of what would be essential for us. Trying not to bring everything only essentials.
Whistle
Solar blanket
Very petite LED light
Matches
Tampons
Chainsaw pull saw
Heavy duty tin foil(4' length)
Cone style coffee filter
CPR mask
Iodine/Alcohol wipes
Anti-biotic creme
Aspirin,Antihistamine,Ibuprophen
gauze 2"x4yrds, 1"x4yrds
Waterproof tape 1"x10yrds
band aids regular,large butterflys
celox
