So, I noticed a crap load of DBAG'S putting their last name on their windshields, and its usually a Polaris Pro! Do we all wanna be like Burandt or is it in the contract when you buy a Polaris Pro that you have to put your FREAKIN last name on your windshield! Just curious cause I looking at snowchecking come April! HAHA Seriously, I think its freakin retarded!!!
I think sledhead just said everything in the wrong way. But what he means is, Burandt is who we all want to ride like in the backcountry! Especially me, and he had his name on his sled! Well he is the best in the world and I believe if your sponsored to ride a sled for a living which only a handfull of people are that are backcountry riders.... your damn right you put your name on the windshield.
Now, If you feel your good enough to get sponsored and in your own filming you want your name to be seen by the companies your sending your footage too, great. By having your name on your windshield, your making a statement " I am really good at snowmobiling" period. and if your really good, then you can do whatever you want.
But if i run into someone up buff pass or rabbitt ears with their last name all over there sled, and they cant ride very well? I personally think it is retarded!!
Its the same thing to me as when I am playing golf and a guy with, $3000 worth of clubs and his name on his bag (which only professional golfers put their name on the bag) steps up to the first tee and jacks it Out of bounds 2x. You just dont do it.
"If you can ride good in back country" you can put your name on your sled.
DUMBEST thing I have read in quite some time. I dont have my name on my sled but my fuel rack is custom made with my nickname etched out, damn awesome xmas gift (thanks lil bro)
Do what you want to your sled its yours, dosent matter where or what you ride. The important thing is going riding.
