The clan headed up to Wells Summit, Dido Flats. Roads were clear every where but where it counted, intersections. Parking was horrible, I think everyone that owned a sled was up there. To top it off some moron parked their 4 place enclosed and truck in the turn around. That was awesome backing up and turning around a crew cab long bed 4 place down the one car width road.
Anyways snow was decent, typical for this year. Some brush and rocks still showing, but most covered. Snow down in the valley was crusted with sugar like under. Up at higher elevations it was fluffy, bottomless, and freakin awsome. Untracked was the best, because the tracked up stuff got hard under the surface. A couple of our favorite bowls were un-accessable still due to depth and the skill of the riders in our group.
If you head up, you wont be disappointed. The further back and up you go the better the snow.
Enjoy the pics
