My RXP 4 tec project

It was quite the challenge getting the engine to fit in there. I have figured out my turbo isn't big enough. I'll be trying a GT35 next.

Not sure what the milage is going to be.

gas mileage shouldn't be that big of a concern considering that you're going to be able to run 91 in it. the cheaper price should offset the possibility of crappy fuel milage... to a point. Nice job. can't wait to hear how she goes. keep us updated.

THIS THREAD IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT VIDEO OF THAT BEAST... haha

Looks like a very nice built and setup.. will be interesting to find out how everything works together once you get the bugs worked out..

You defiantly have a one of a kind :D

If you build a setup like this and are worried about fuel milage and the price of 91 vs say c16 your a freakin douche!

Keep us posted astro when you get the bigger huffer on there!

If I ran C16 I could probably get 450 hp out of this motor! Just making some changes right now. Putting the GT35 turbo on. Should be back on the snow this weekend.

If I built one of these I wouldn't be afraid of the price difference. I was simply replying to somebody else's post... so you don't need to go being a dick about it.

So what are you gonna do with all your spare time while your buddies are kicking the snow and ice off there running boards? Sick tunnel, motor and such a clean install. Your my hero!!

Had a good day of testing today. Still a couple of minor issues. Ran 15 lbs of boost and boy does it pull. The ridability is really good. Lots of bottom end torque. I thought having that heavy motor was going to be a problem but it's not bad. I did get a rough weight and I think it is around 520 without gas, I have to get a better scale. The only thing I noticed with the weight is a bit more body roll than a stock edge. But I'll take that trade for 300 hp! Can't wait to try the bigger turbo. The one that I'm using now is a bit bigger than a 3071r.

Sorry, no video yet!

Awesome machine!
I'm not exactly sure about the watercraft drive, but
do you think the pto side bearings on the engine will handle the radial loads the primary is going to put on them.....especially with the torque that baby has?

I added a bearing to support the driveshaft so it shouldn't be a problem. Skidoo did the same thing when they used this motor in the Elite.
