My M7 Bog Is gone. I figured it out!!!!

I have a 2007 M1000 162'' that has always had a mid-range bog. What's weird is that it doesnt do it every time, I would say it does it 95% of the time. It's especially noticeable when I am climbing up a hill, let out of the throttle, and then get back into it. It will bog for about a 1 or 2 seconds and then take off like a bad outta hell. But a lot of times that bog slows me down enough that when the power finally comes on it trenches and I get stuck. Pisses Me Off! I tried playing with the Pure Logic box to see if that would help but had no luck. As soon as I get home tonight I am going to see if I can move the tube and take it for a spin out in the field and see what I come up with... I hope this works, I'll post tomorrow and let ya'll know what I find out.
Sorry, I was refering to this post. sounds like a backshifting problem, I had the same grief, changed my helix to a Dalton 54-36 and put hard rock rollers on it, and it isn't the same sled!!

circle square triangle

What symbol is on you EFI box and does it make a difference on the hose and BOG? Just looking at other possibilities not sure if they are all the same of if some have a different EFI controler(version) that may be causing some of this? My 06 M7 has the square and routing the hose back helped some but did not cure the "BOG".

RK tek secondary kit plus new spider, weights and spring on the primary cured the bog on my m7. :D

mine has a bog off the line a talked to the guys at a local custom sled shop and they say "clutching, clutching, clutching".That clear tube never made any difference to me.Imight move it back down to see if that does anything.Gonna take it in on Wed. see if that helps me out sure hope so

06 m7, 500 miles

just started gettin bog, with this machine it's only got 500 miles, i ride from 9500-1200, gunna check out this tube deal tommarow, hope it works.

m7 bog

must be clutching. clear tube is in the correct spot and clear of ice/snow. does anyone know if blue marble oil should be used in a stock 06 M7, i just started using it, ever since i put it in I had bog at the bottom end, I used to used amsoil intercepter, never any bog, my buddy switched me to blue marble.

Could it be over-oiling and loading up now with the change in oils and/or their thickness/consistency?

mine had the low end bog,but moved the belt up abit,it was sitting below the sheave.Made a difference on mine, but i'm still gonna got to the 10.4 and the orange secondary spring with the gold primary.Still have stock helix 36, weights 68gr and just gonna stuck with the stock can,for now might put the D&D after
