I thought I would post up some photos of all the upgrades for this year I am working on. Some of them are done already and I have a lot more to do. I started out just putting a longer better track on her with some Avid driver and then discovered there was a 900 forum on here and the list just keeps growing.

Avid Anti-Ratchet drivers (done)
Challenger Extreme track 163 x 2.5 x 2.86 pitch (done)
MMP 6.25 inch rail extensions.
8 inch rear wheels
Skinz front bumper
VE tunnel extension Bumper
4 inch handlebar riser
Polzinhunters Rider select delete and billet chaincase cover
new intake boots
Compfusion motor mounts
Billet Crossmember
FBF throttle/oil cable
New driven Clutch helix and spring
Timbersled Barkbuster Front suspension (done)
F & I intake
F & I hood vents.
WahlBros anti stab wheel kit
WahlBros Billet track adjusters
Polaris Rail Stiffening Braces

I'm sure the list will grow a bit more before I am done with it.

looking sweet!!! doing some great work there. glad i'm not the only one spending tons of money on my 9  :face-icon-small-sho keep us updated

just an fyi on your billet crossmember and compfusion mounts where the compfusion mount protrudes into the notch for the steering arm grind that corner off, if you don't your steering arm jamb nut will hit it and limit your turning in one direction. found that to be a real problem on mine and my brothers.

this is what i did.

I read that in your posts before. I plan on doing a test fit once I get the engine out just to make sure everything clears. I have been saving that project for last.:face-icon-small-ton

damnit. Why didnt anyone tell me this before i put my motor in.

How bad does it limit steering? I guess ill just have to live with it. No way in heck am i pulling the motor just for that.

probably 5-10 degrees , if you turn your steering from stop to stop you can notice one way it don't turn as far. at least on mine and my brothers it did that and we always wondered why till i found this when i was trial fitting my new cross member and i noticed on the compfusion mount that it was getting gouged right there.

you will be fine i ran that way 2 seasons till i figured it out. lol :face-icon-small-dis

I like how you retained the big RMK logo on the side panel even with the vents.... Very nice attention given there... I love it:face-icon-small-hap

I really hated to destroy my side graphics but it was just to hot under the hood. It was really easy to get the RMK off. Just pealed it up very gently and stuck it on in the new location. Didn't need to glue it or anything.

I see new shocks/springs on the front end in the last picture also.

Actually those are the original factory ones. I took them off and swapped them to Walker Evans so they are in like new condition. Just sold the Walker Evans and am going to get either Fox Float 2's or Carls Performance revalved Fox Zero Pros.

The factory gold that are on it right now are for sale if anyone wants them. They are the steel bodied ones with no adjustment.

Santa Claus stopped by my house today in his brown truck and brought me a VE tunnel extension bumper. I guess I know what I will be doing tomorrow :face-icon-small-coo

It seams that with everything I change on my sled I create 2 new problems. The flap was just a little to close with the new track installed. Thanks to BiggDawg I have a solution. Now I just need to carefully perform the required modification of a very expensive piece of aluminum.

just hollar if you have questions.

I'm used to it on this sled, always modding things made for something else.

tunnel extensions

I just talked to Robbie at Avid and he has 2 VE tunnel extensions that should work on the 900's for sale for $155 if anyone needs one. They are a little different than the one I got, but I think they will actually be easier to install and cost less than I paid:face-icon-small-dis
