I get it when in Denver. Applejacks, smoothest whisky by far. Much better than Crown in my own opinion.

IMO, since you are stocking for what other guests like, they will want their normal, not the "luxury" liquers that are a specialty. Lots of great booze suggested here, but most have listed specialty expensive stuff. So I stock the following and they seem to always get the most hits at our party's;

- Jack Daniels
- Cuevo Gold tequila
- Absolute Vodka
- Bacardi Silver Rum
- Crown Royal

It might not be the fanciest stuff and I haven't had it a while but Jim Beam white and Dr.Pepper is a mighty good mix

I'm a Bacardi rum guy, Grey Goose Vodka, Jack Daniels, Crown, and please, PLEASE find some Pendleton! Those five would suffice for me.

10-4 on that--the rest of those guys must like umbrellas in their drinks!

Good Bourbon (Single barrel Jack, Crown Reserve, etc), Good drinking bourbon (jack, pendleton, crown) Good Vodka (grey goose), Cheap vodka! Good Scotch (no black label is not good scotch), and Good (like there is such a thing) tequila--that's a bar!

Like many have mentioned, Pendleton's is by far a better whiskey, only downfall to it in B.C. is no distributor, so have to rely on the kindness of buddies south of the border to send it here

Good old Bacardi white
and if all them end up empty, a cheap bottle of tequila, because let's face it, who's gonna notice at this point of the night??
