muffpot or hotdogger???

I have the Muff Pot beleive they are all pretty much the same. When you do use get the medium size oven bag and put food in bag. Works great and I can't beleive I went this long without one.I had smokies on Fri and corn dogs on Sat with chicken wings on Sunday.I'll use every trip from now on.

Cheers,
Dave

We have both in our group. There isn't a whole lot of difference but from using all the time I have noticed the muffpot gets hotter because it is thiner being made out of stainless steal compared to the regular steal hot dogger. I belive the muff pot cleans up a little easier as well. Either way they are amazing to have. Have a good trip

anyone have any pics of hotdogger or muffpot installed?
I'm thinking about getting one!
Thanks!

I have a Hotdogger on my 00 RMK and a Muffpot on my 07 RMK. The Hotdogger is aluminum and leave a black residue on everything. It also just snaps in place and can fall out while riding hard. The Muffpot is much better! It is Stainless Steel and clamps in place. Using oven bags for your food really helps also!

As long as you put your food into something else first, it doesn't much matter about clean up.

I first had a Hotdogger on my sled for 1/2 a season. I went to a Muff Pot because it is a tad bigger, and can fit more food. That was a big bonus for me, especially with also being the hubby's *cook* while out riding....needed enough food for both of us, or it just gave me more room for other things (shrimp scampi is awesome when out riding!). :)

Doe anyone have a muff pot on the m-series sled. If you do, where did you put it?

I put mine on my MBRP can. It does not burn food just heats it up nice in a couple of hours. I usually load her up when we first leave the truck and leave in for sometimes 4 hours. Just make sure you use medium oven bags or parchment paper not tin foil as it will stick on your meal. You will love it and use all the time.

Cheers,
Dave

Muffpot is my choice. Tried them all and it is better built than the hotpot. Like stated above, the hotdogger is aluminum and leaves black residue on everything so you have to wrap it in foil or use a bag. They are also too small.

I bought and installed a hotdogger on the sled. But after reading this post it sounds like I should have went with the muffpot! Anyone want to buy a hotdogger? LOL!

I just ordered one. I am probably going to mount it on my can.

What are you guys talking about with the oven bags? I have no clue what that is? I am just getting it so i can throw some smokies or hot dogs in there. There isn’t really any clean up form that is there? I am going to mount mine sideways. Is this possible? Anyone done this? Anyone ever break it? I am very hard on my sled and knowing that the sled is going to get the hell beat out of it, will they come off or break?

I decided on a muffpot last year and haven't looked back, foods gets as hot as I ride, just wrap a couple pizza pockets in aluminum foil and ride it like ya stole it:D
My engine bay may not be quite as clean as the rest of yours, but it's a little older sled and still gets the job done:) Has never come loose:D
