Muff Pot on Pro

Why use a muff pot when you can grill steaks ... My new snowchecked PRO with the color coordinated Gas BBQ option....I went with the NOS grill instead of propane... its a little scetchy but it cooks really fast... and I have an extra bottle in case Im running low on boost juice :face-icon-small-hap ...click to enlarge ...

+1, for Woodsriders mount, I bought two from Hatchers Pass Polaris, for Xmas gifts for my riding co-conspirators...they love 'em!

Mounted mine on the pipe right next to the can. Simply cut a piece if 1/4 inch aluminum plate about an inch or so wide and put it between the pot bracket and the pipe. Works great, over 1000 miles and not a single broken clamp or even a loose clamp. Best thing about this mount is no air gap between the can and the pipe which translates to better heat transfer with less heat loss. On cold days you need all the help you can get.

Not to get off subject, but has anyone had problems with the muffpot knock offs fitting where we are mounting them. I got one from WPS and it didnt fit because of the slight design change. I took the full throttle muff pot off my dragon and it fits perfect. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem.

Coolx2 are you talking about the Hot Pot cooker? I also make mount and shield kit that works same price 20.00 shipped anywhere in the USA. 27.00 to Canada.

Hot Pot and Muff Pot use a stainless steel pan with a aluminum base. Muff Pot is a little taller than Hot Pot. Both use a clamping arm to hold pan to base. The Hot Dogger pan is aluminum and the base I believe is stainless steel size wise it is a little smaller than the Hot Pot. Hot Dogger use spring clips to hold the pan into the base. All of them use a hose clamp to attach to pipe. Many aftermarket company's sell them, you should also be able to find them in your local dealer(s). I prefer the stainless pans over the aluminum, but the bottom line is they all work.

Mounted a Hot Pot on my '12 Pro. as far back towards the silencer as I could, but still on the pipe. doesnt sit level, but did the job just great this weekend for two rides!

Won't ride without one now, very nice to have something warm to eat.

Tons of benefits to having one, outside of having a warm lunch even!

I just cooked a pack of cheddarwurst brats one day, and a pack of hotdogs the next day. They weren't frozen to start, and only took an hour - two for them to get good and warm.

Frozen stuff will take longer.

I mounted mine back towards the end of the pipe/beginning of the can., where it tapers. Took the Dremel tool and notched out the pipe shield so the hose clamp can't slip back, tightens up great. No moving, clamps beauty and cooks like crazy.
I prefer already cooked foods/leftovers in there, just to avoid any health issues with undercooked meat etc.
Now health issues from cheese filled brats or extra-cheese meat lovers pizza is a whole other story !! :face-icon-small-ton
