MPI Supercharger Belt Blown

Started sled while very cold (idling only) and horrible sound as probably 1/4 the teeth are gone from the belt. Any known cause? Just call MPI and get another belt or is there something better?

Hmmm
I know my belt took some SERIOUS abuse when my pully came loose last winter in Canada. But in spite of carving a line right down the middle of the belt, it never failed.

As far as I know, MPI is the only place to get the belts. I have a few if you need and I would make you a good deal on one or more.

How old was the belt? I had the same thing happen but my belt was a few years old when it happened.

Have a new one coming from racinstation, chalk up bad belt under s#$t happens!

Only time i have had this problem was when the belt had been runnning too loose. make sure it is tight!
