I was thinking of moveing the front of my skid up a little bit, it would help get up on the snow better obviously but since i still have the factory tipped up rails would this help with transfer a little bit? NO flamming just an idea theres nothing like free to improve things lol

Tried it on an Iqr. Gets on snow better but had a ton of ski pressure (although the Iqr has more ski pressure inherently)

Thats what i was thinking also, i have my skid moved back some and its got way more transfer then i like but alot of that is do to the super awsome walker pos evans i think i will give it a shot and since my skid is moved back some hopefully my rails will clear the drivers all i can do is try it

Have you already moved the front shock to the lower position? That might give you some of the benefit you are looking for as well. I have relocated the front mount on older sleds to achieve what your are describing. However, I prefer to lower the back if possible.

Iam not sure what hole its in i do know that it is the layed down position so it collaps easier to hopefully get up on the snow better "in theory"

I moved the skid up on my assault and liked it way better. less trenching and dose not wheelie as bad as it used to. It did steer a bit harder but that was expected and no big deal. I would go for it and if you dont like it you can always go back. good luck :face-icon-small-hap
