The 800 ho in the axys makes ~3 hp more then skidoo and cat on the same dyno. Thats almost 15hp more than the non ho poo.

Thats what I wondered, Poo is just catching up with the rest. The Poo train will be honking like crazy. As glued parts make it easy to be towed out. I rode the Poo train for a long time, a sub 400 lb sled is what so many of us asked for. but not many really understood that we would brake them every other ride. Bent tunnels, broken A-arms, broken drive shafts. I sure which is all fixed with the new Axys, polaris put there stamp on that one..
No dought about it, should be a super fun sled. Polaris is doing things no other brand is doing. got to give them that. I like to see the evolution of sleds as the years go by.

doos have 164 advertised, poos have not enough!

They are advertised at that, so they technically cannot have less, or else its false advertising and they could be sued..... They apparently got into a bunch of trouble 10+ yrs ago or so for advertising that the sled had more power than it actually did. Its just like the muscle cars of the '70s. Everything had more power than advertised for insurance purposes. Same idea is applied here.

I have been told by my mechanic that the etec is pulling 170+ at the crank. From dyno tests!


The poos use to be 144hp at one time and i think they are 148hp.

Your mechanic may be a drug user. Maybe make sure and ask to see all replaced parts he charges you for, cause he's a fibber. LOL.

Wow, the Doo clutches are even worse than I thought then. In your world there's 14 HP difference , and on the hill and Doo may have a sight advantage in certain aspects. And you have to deal with the extra weight on the Doo and Cat. Good for Polaris, imagine if they do come out with an equal HP motor, big ouch for Doo and Cat.

The big ouch is if the junk glued a arm comes apart and you fly over the hood.guy last week made it a whole 10 miles on new 15 sled..go poo.LOL

We can look at polaris this way, It should be about time they come out with a crank that works! Cause they have had crappy luck every since the 800 came out. knock knock on wood, I have been lucky with my personal sleds. But alot of friends and a couple in our family, and many many on this forum have had bad luck.

guy i know plays for the other team in his personal life, parents were crushed when he told em. Then he went to law school and became a lawyer, they were so let down. Then he was busted for involvement in child pornography and pedofile activities , OMG, they were mortified. A while ago he contracted a horrible skin disease, huge blistery type sores all over his face, parents were embarrassed.
But they stood by him, cause they love him, he's their only son.

Last week , he came home with a brand new Doo T3 on the truck. They booted his a$$ out, told him to never come around again, took his house key and called the family lawyer to cut him from the family, told him he is now invisible to them. Harsh, but even as a mom and dad, you can only stomach so much from a kid, even your only son.
