Motorfist Clothing

My apologies for sounding like and arrogant prick. After re-reading that post a day later I also think it sounds terrible. I was not trying to bash MotorFist or anyone that uses their product. It sounds like it works for them and thats great, I have no room to form an opinion because I have not personally used MotorFist. However seeing the fabric in use while underwater has showed me why I will stick to GoreTex.
I also stand corrected on MotorFist's warranty. Its been awhile since I have been on their website and it looks like they changed their warranty. It would be awesome if they were a company that really took care of their customers. A brand new jacket to use while yours is getting repaired would be awesome. Thats what has helped with companies like Outdoor Research and Patagonia grow to the size they are today.
It would be great if someone finally developed a product as breathable, dry and durable as GoreTex. It sounds like the technology is very very close. Maybe that will finally drive prices of such technology down

Please don't bring REI into this conversation. You will never see a snowmobile, motorcycle, jetski, fourwheeler or any recreational vehicle that consumes natural resources advertised or encouraged in their membership, store or catalogs. Now that being said I'am a member and I enjoy walking in there with my fossil fuel recreational gear and hunting boots.

Motofist lets the sweat out and the water IN...but it was there first year and they may have improved the product!?
Klim has done well with there wear and warranty so far......
But what about..HMK??

motorfist/event

just wanna throw this out there..... the event that motorfist is using is NOT the same event being used in the past by polaris or is it the same being used in other industries. The event that motorfist is using, and has the exclusive on, is "military grade" , a much more durable product than what has been used in the past.... anyhoo... just my 2 cents... we carry both here at store, as for warranty we were told to take out of our inventory, if possible, and loan to customer until there garment can be repaired or replaced.

I was kind've wondering if there were different types of eVent membranes. It would be cool to see a 100% apples to apples test with these fabrics i.e. Gore Tex ProShell vs. eVent Military Grade and so on down the line. Its amazing how many different "recipes" companies use. I think Gore is up to like 5 different waterproof membranes. That number could be wrong though

I have been sleddin for the last 10 plus years and have used almost every companys gear, the only one I have not tried yet is MF.I love my Kilm gear I have yet hadit fail me and their customer service and warranty have been point on.All the other gear I have tried I always am wet at the end of the day.I some day may try MF it looks like good gear , but with my Klim gear I know that I will be dry at the end of the day.

Giving MotorFist a try...

I will start off by saying I don't currently own any of the top name brands of snowmobile clothing, but I should have my hands on a new set of MotorFist gear this coming week.

In the last two weeks I have talked to multiple people from the company, and I have to say every single one of them was extremely professional, and very helpful. They bent over backwards to try to find me a set of last years gear at their advertised, steep, discount. When they could not come up with any gear, they made the situation right, and cut me an unbelieveable deal on the new line. I was probably a pain in their butt, but they took, and returned, all of my phone calls.

Personnally, I thought customer service in this country was dead. The folks at motorfist have made me think twice, they were fantastic. It is because of them that I am giving their product a try this year!!!

Can someone post where each is made at?

I am trying my best to buy as much USA & Canada product as possible.
