Motor Swap Question

I'm thinking of purchasing a 2003 RMK 700 with a seized motor -"damaged crank bearings and burnt cylinders". Owner is selling the sled with an 2001 motor which he thinks can be used in this sled without modification.

Question: Can this swap take place without other mods?

I was just looking at that same sled on craigslist. Yes it will bolt in, the electrical may need to be changed out.

If you get it and don't want the bad motor let me know, I'm looking for one to rebuild.

Also I bet you can talk him down a bit, it's been up for sale a few times.
