"MONSTER" Conquered...Alpine Ride

Fuji we need to go back and do the other two Chute's beside Monster. I think Neil is in forsure. Oh and man are those nytro's fast, could not believe how bad they beat up on the m 1000 turbo's on Sunday.

OK OK SSSSOOOO how bad and what kind of boost? Have not run into one yet  Any info would be great Terry;)

Don`t know what kind of boost either sled was running but buddy on the 1000turbo figured the Nytro was not faster than his sled. So Jason Earl called him out. They lined up 4 times. First time they were side by side. No contest Jason took him out of the whole and never looked back. The next three times Jason gave him a 30ftish start and would still reel him in and beat him.

Don`t hate the messenger. Don`t get me wrong they seem to go good .That one guy was hauling up monster. It did not help that the guys running them cats were pissed drunk on the hill all weekend though.

I believe Matt(Sledjunkies) might have some footage of that also.

It was unreal to see just how fast them boosted nytros go especially off the line.

Hey there Matt and Veedy from the sounds of thing the boyz were really giving you guys some serious footage. You both are going to end up with tons of footage this year for some more films how about 1 more teaser!!
what do say guys c'mon??

hey how about doc zoom was there 2 . put something out there for a teaser Doc.

I saw some of Matt's raw footage........HOLY SMOKES! What a crazy weekend, too bad I missed it.

If you watch back in the sattle from extreme team video's, dave knight try's it once then tries it again and makes it. And he also tries it in danger zone 2 but gets dicked up. And his sled was a totally stock 04 rev with a can. I hope your turbo buddies have better luck next time they try it

Anyone have pics or video evidence of that ? Sounds like a Buddy Weiser parking lot tale to me.

Neil, were going to pitch in and get you a warn bumper for the front end of your sled. You might be able to punch solid ice cornices with it then ! There was some sick climbes for the Alpine ride and the weather was tolerable. Any day you can see 50 ft in front of you is good. The S chute should be unreal.

174 in style

Here is a shot of Chad Rebec(CR Racing) as he reached the top of the left chute in the Airport Bowl on Boulder last weekend. I tell you, thats doing it in style!

stock 800 rev. an 03 or 04 can't remember.

3 Apex, 1 Nytro made it over the top. The 2 M sleds never made it, and there were 2 Apex that never made it. If you look at the still pic, you will see it was starting to get beat up pretty good. I can believe that a stock Rev made it in spring snow, but he wouldn't have made it half way up that day.

they raced earl on his nitro 15lbs of boost and the guys said they were running their m1000 at 12 lbs of boost. About a foot of freash and fairly set up under that, if they left at the same time it wasent even close. The nitro with a front mount was gone 50 ft before they made boost, earl left them get on boost and then run them down and passed them fairly easy. They were excellent running m1000 turbos, I have seen quite a few and these guys had theirs running real rice and clean. Not to mention its always nice to see guys running them and not afraid to line them up win or lose. Lots of guys talk then hide.

M1000 Turbo

One guy on a cat turbo was drinking, The rest were stone cold sober and were dialing in new turbos on poorly tested kits put out by more than one manufacturer. I was one of them. One particular Apex that went over Monster was piloted by a pretty drunk rider whom we all know and crashed his sled soon after. I don't drink on hill and won't ride with guys who do. The Nytros did beat us on Sunday but Andy's was doing very well at the Superbowl drags on Saturday. Mine had a terrible bog on startup which I now have dialed out. Tomorrow is another day.
PS: I also have a Nytro that is going to be turboed as well so don't think I am cat biased but don't group a bunch of guys cause of one bad apple who made a mistake. If one drunk guy makes the hill he's ok cause of the type of sled he is riding and the one who doesn't is an ass?

Absolutly not, any guy on the hill thats drunk is a ***gin arse in my books, the drunk dude on the Apex has been warned, many times, but yet thinks its ok.

The reason the drunk guy on the M1000 is being pointed out is because he climbed that skinny chute with 2 people still in the chute, unable to get out of the way if something happened, he almost hit them. Being drunk on the hill is retarded, but almost taking out 2 people in a chute is unacceptable to say the least.

Hopefully both them drunk tarts learned a lesson that day........
