"MONSTER" Conquered...Alpine Ride

Neil had the deer in the head lights thing going on the frist time he tried Monster. Hey Neil there's a turn at the top of that bad boy. Second time around you nailed it buddy. Now let's go back and do Monster S.
I was going a bit to fast huh.LOL. I decided at the last second to try to punch through it, but it was bigger than it looked. I think it only rolled 120 times, and I only broke the small plastic line to my boost guage. When your the first to go up, you can't always be sure of how deep the snow is, so I kept the hammer down. We will save the S chute for Yammafest, the video guys are going love the exit to that one hey Paul.

What kind of snow conditions?

Didn't a stock REV 800 make it up that on spring snow?

Anyone have pics or video evidence of that ? Sounds like a Buddy Weiser parking lot tale to me.

Neil, were going to pitch in and get you a warn bumper for the front end of your sled. You might be able to punch solid ice cornices with it then ! There was some sick climbes for the Alpine ride and the weather was tolerable. Any day you can see 50 ft in front of you is good. The S chute should be unreal.

paul gibbs went over that baby on a borrowed sled, he was first over. I took my nitro over 2nd ride n I love it!, then rebac with that 174!! wow did that thing keep the ski's planted on the snow!! Theres a cr 174 in my near future. There was 2 M1000 turbos that tried but couldnt quite make it over. (And couldnt quite push the 1 down either! LMAO huf huf huf!)

Mike you beat me too it. Gibbs don`t get any love on here lol.

congrats to all you bastages for pulling that bad boy. Never seen so much action in monster as I did this day.

Dave knight in one of the Extreme Team videos, I think it was the second one, you can watch it there.

I'd like to take a poke at the Monster!!

Mike and Paul make it look to easy...so no love for them!! LMAO If it weren't for guys like Mike and Paul, then what would guys like us have to shoot for. There is no rush like pointing a turbo sled up these big chutes.

Alpine

I wonder how many had to clean their shorts after Tim flew above the crowd, I was down the hill towards Superbowl and I saw his sled fly up over above the crowd.

That was awsome when Tim went flying over everyone. My uncle was one of the guys that he went flying over.I was awsome.Tim is one crazy mofo

Veedy - Dave Knight climbed the Monster in "Back in the Saddle" with a stock 2004 Rev 800 on spring snow - actually climbed it 7/8 the way the first time and cleared it on the second attempt :)

Two up

That is a monster allright. i can't hardly beleive two people would be in there at the same time seems pretty risky.looks fun though.Where is that up there?

climbed er like a professional buddy well done!!!!!!!

Ole Don Lentz did it with his 1010 (?) and one eye in one of the TS movies back in about 2004 or 2005.

Fuji we need to go back and do the other two Chute's beside Monster. I think Neil is in forsure. Oh and man are those nytro's fast, could not believe how bad they beat up on the m 1000 turbo's on Sunday.

Yeah Scott, Dave Knight climbed...

It on his stock 04 rev a couple of years ago. I am guessing that Chad and Co. had a few more ponies at their disposal than Dave did. John:D
