Well, I lost my 11.5' round cowling that fit's around the forks and under front plastic. Loaded my hawk up with all the plastic off, moved everything to my heated shop for the winter and after putting everything back together noticed i had left that round plastic cover at home. But nothing was found as I think My kid's might have used it for a frisby. Kinda funny. So I took their Red saucer sled for sliding down hill's and reto fitted a new one. A make shift compass and a sharpe cut out perfect. I should bring the "ring" home for the boy's to wonder about. I'm sure it will show up in the spring. Good time's.

Does anyone get Ice build up in the back of this 11.5 inch cowling. mine does and it sags a little.

I would get powder past it and moisture inside causing the belt to slip. So I cut a 3" by 10" piece of plastic off of the garbage can lid and rivited it to the belly inside across the bottom of the circular opening. Now when the snow pushes against the round plastic piece it won't push open on the back and let snow into the belly.
