What do you guys see for an engagement RPM with the BL/WH/BL primary and the 8BU's?
Have a Doo 1200 with 8BU's loaded with steel rivets, BL/WH/BL primary, and 14,5mm rollers and am seeing an engagement speed of 4200 which I think is pretty high. Is that a normal engagement speed for a Nytro?

Hey Sherm- Are you using a Yamaha helix?? You must already know that a yamaha helix that is marked "51" is not a 51 degree. It is a 45 degree,which would explain some of the belt heat in question. It would be great to pull a straight 51 in the mountains!!!!
Its a Yammy helix that Vernon Yamaha cuts to 51 degrees. Engagement speed with that blu/whi/blu is 4400-4500, a bit high but no problems with starting out on fresh snow........Sherm
