Anyone riding sunday the 30th. My cousin and I are heading to valley county in the am. Looking for some easy going riders to hang with. We will either go to west mountain or Brundage.
Will someone please reply to my husband and go riding with him? Poor thing is about to cry........okay not really........he doesn't know i'm posting this! 
He is out working on his sled, getting it ready for tomorrow and would love to meet new people to ride with.

Johnny and Eric are on their way back from Cascade right now. I talked to him about an hour ago. Said the snow was okay in some areas, but other areas sucked. Windy, cold and snowing. Oh well, atleast they got to go. We are wanting to go next weekend. Not sure where, but i really want to go ride...........

K eyes looks like its going to be a ladie's choice for at least one day next weekend. My avatar wants me to take her out so... maybe we can link up? Give me a call and we'll work out the details. I think there is an avy class in McCall on the 5th and another at woop em' up on the 12th, wanna go? It would make me feel better to know you've been properly trained to come find and dig my arse out after a little slide incident... wish more guys would get some of that training. Seen a couple scary moves already this year !!!

fwiw, I'd really recommend warren wagon road.
it is getting hammered by hundreds of sleds a day, but most of the play areas are untouched, and we are forced as groomers to keep that trail good.
with a broken groomer, upper elevation and green gate are going to be pretty rough on new years day.

We did the loop around Brundage yesterday and it was pretty rough but the play areas were awsome and the scenery was breathtaking! Had an awsome time in McCall and hope to be vback soon! Once again it was good to meet you Doug and hopefully we can get together for a ride one of these days.
Hazard Lakes area measured about 6'5" with an avy probe on 1/1/08. Luckily that is all we used the avy probe for.

WoooOOOoooo McCall is epic! We had three days great snow but ZERO vis and 2 days of epic over the hood fresh with sunshine. New Years day ride was the best other then we were tired, sore, and maybe a bit hung! Still danger snow with landmines everywhere on climbs and we brought back alot of sleds for repairs. While we rode very limited trails and only trailered one day what we did ride trail wise was fine. Weirdly not that crowded. Lots of trucks and trailers in town but everyone spread out nicely and we didnt have any competition for some killer stuff. I never saw a single other sled outside of our group on the lick creek side of the lake in two days! Only bad thing was coming home to five days worth of phone calls for parts.

You know I always ment to post these in the McCall thread. I know they're not really sled related, but I think you guys will like them anyway. I took them back in December when I was in McCall.
