yup gate is open now.

as i type this thursday night, groomer is in warren heading back, then plan is to groom all night.

we are going to groom green gate adn the lookout either tonight or tomorrow night.

just talked to Sim who is grooming back from Warren.

On Wednesday morning EARLY with the New Holland I got powered out 3 times going over secesh summit. drag plugged up, tracks augured in.

I was takig 18 inches of air out of the snow. Have no idea how much snow was there new.

Sim says he can hardly tell I was there 2 days ago. and it's supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow!!

Seems like Hazard, Fisher creek, secesh, and Steamboat got the most. Warren got under a foot, while secesh meadows got almost 2 feet.

This info is a little old, but the wife and I road Warren Wagon yesterday (Thursday) and WOW the pow was deep!

The groomer was up and had made his first pass up to Warren. I had SO MUCH fun jumping off trail and into the deep snow that was likely grommed down on the way back.

We only saw a handful of sledders which I know will be the last time during my visit to your neck of the woods.

Here's a few grab shots from yesterdays ride. Also, I'm hoping to ride with some locals if you don't mind a tag-a-long. I'm hoping to get off trail a little more and do some boondockin. PM me if your available Tomorrow, or Monday through Thursday!

Sure was nice waking up Thursday and finding my sleds already burried,

Woo look at all that beautiful McCall snow!@ Slick called this morning from Lick Creek to torture me since I'm working today instead of riding. I sure hope everyone getting their sled parts appreciates my commitment to service. This new pow pow has me re-thinking the program. SHOPS CLOSED!!!! Halfway needs my attention first and then McCall next week. YEA

Nah man I'm on the poor side of the street ;) We're the first group across the street from Aspen Market - I think we're like #37, but I'm in shorts and bare feet so forgive me for not checking. Just look for a white GMC 1/2 ton pickup. We've got about 7 people and 2 dogs over here. :face-icon-small-sho

Just rolled into MCCall, things are looing pretty good arounf here.;););)

It's real dusty on the hills too. The wife and I road to Warren today to get a burger and fries. It was a good 80 miles round trip - although I guess you guys already know that.

I always love the low temps you guys enjoy out here. In Washington our passes get a lot more snow, but are typically in the upper 20's, low 30's, so it's nice to see high temps in the mid-teen's.

rosco, send me a pm and i'd love to down a cold beverage with you.

I keep harping on this, but a pretty cool ride is brush creek.

leave francis wallace parking lot, head north 5 miles to the bridge to the right. cross the bridge, ride up the freshly groomed trail until you say "OH MY GOD" the third time.

Have fun!!!!!
