leave francis wallace parking lot, head north 5 miles to the bridge to the right. cross the bridge, ride up the freshly groomed trail until you say "OH MY GOD" the third time.

Hey sounds good! Which reminds me, I need to stock up on beer before the stores close for Christmas.

Man I'm kicking myself for listening to the weather man. It was suppose to snow all day, so I elected to stay home and watch my son while everyone else went skiing. Fresh snow, and blue skys - I'll have to settle for snowshoeing.

So where's everyone riding Wednesday? I've yet to ride with any other SnoWest'ers this year and am itching to get off trail.

Went to cascade, the best snow so far, at least 4 foot of powder and 2 foot of good base, groomers need to groom to burnt tree were paying $32.50 for nothing, but nothing the less it was pretty good.

I would gladly pay any amount of money if it helps in the fight to keep our lands open so we can ride, groomed or not.

West Mountain Issues -WMSC

Just to let let everyone know there is a lot going on up at west mounatin lately. There has been a change leadership, the grooming program, and other things around the area. Check out the news at this link

I joined the WMSC just to show support and help keep the area open for riders. If you do not want to participate in club but support the issues let the West Mountain Snowmobile Club know and they will be very appreaciative of the support through numbers.

Man get a life! Do you think that they can groom every trail every night. If you are from McCall you know how much it has snowed the last week. They are taking Christmas Eve and Christmas day off. From what I have seen the grooming is GREAT! Thanks Doug and gang.

Yes, your dues went up, and due to how the system works the county won't get that money until next year.

That sucks for both of us, but it is what it is.

As far as a particular trail, one lonely week ago there wasn't enough snow to really get up anderson creek trail.

Donnelley north is pretty much perfect.

Cascade and Cougar Mountain are indeed still getting ramped up, and they are trying like heck to get Deadwood adn the warm lake stuff groomed this week as well.

It is also my understanding that they do not start grooming to the burnt tree until there is a certain amount of snow?

You sir are a jackazz. Please do the world a favor and leave. Why does there always have to be one idiot that can't be happy. If you don't like the price don't pay it! If you don't like the trails don't ride them. Or are you afraid of all that scary deep powder? Obviously you have never had a job or you would understand that at certain times there is just to much to do at once. I for one am amazed that the trails are in as good of shape as they are. Doug and crew, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO. Now if you don't mind I would like to go ride!

We are thinking of heading there on Saturday... but West Mtn is closer and seems to be getting snow. Thoughts?

souds like a 6 ft. tall whiny and bleeding vagina. Go ride the trails somewhere else until they can get there. Trails have always been pretty good when I'm there 6-10 times a year. thanks grooming crew

there si a winter storm warning tongiht through noon tomorrow.

On last monday night 4 guys spent the night cuz there was too much snow on West Mountain. It has done nothing but snow since.

I'm pretty sure the trail head up from the lake will be groomed on Anderson Creek for the weekend.

It sure sucks when you have to figure which groomed trails to ride to get to the areas with too much snow.
