McCall avgas

Are you able to get avgas from the local airport? If so is it open 24 hours to the public ( like washington)? Do you need special training to obtain avgas from the airport ( washington you don't)?

i dont know first hand but i will be heading their sometime this week to resupply, riding mccall tomorrow through friday... according to

they have self service 100ll
4.99/gallon
usually when its self service you can fill up from dawn till dusk...
im sure it wont be a problem to take your cans and fill them up...

It is easy, scary easy, lol. I went the first time with a 5 gallon can to McCall Air/Aviation. The yellowish building on the corner of 55 and Deinhard. He took me back to the tank, showed me how to use it, and gave me a code for the auto gate. I have been back twice with my trailer and 55 gallon drum to refill. Last time the gate wasn't even closed, I just drove out onto the tarmac, filled up, drove out. A little strange, but small town ways I guess, lol. It takes a credit card at the pump, so I suppose it would work 24/7.

Wow! I feel LUCKY. I just bought 100 gallons of AVgas from the FBO in Longmont, Colorado. $3.78 self serve! How crazy is that
