Oh, make no mistake, the massive upgrade has been happening over and over again.


Today we should have the entire database Re-Synced after a 96 hour export run over the last 4 days. Hopefully this run will bring all of the Paid Membership data into alignment with the new Xenforo Membership structure.


If you have access to the new forums, then you will see this update as soon as it goes live with all of the threads over there becoming current to 96 hours ago here.
 
OK.. You lost me at Re-synced, and xeno blah blah :face-icon-small-blu... This would be the time I'd mention wanting to post pics of our bad azz snow conditions up here, however, at this point I wouldn't want to depress the masses

UPDATE of the database is complete.
New Forum has been Synced to the old forum, less 96 hours.


Several of our custom modules broke in the update.
4 modules being repaired right now


Hopefully all user permissions transferred SMOOTHLY this time


If you find any permission/access issues, please let me know.


From this point out it all comes down to the Premium memberships working properly in the new forum environment and all of the accounting data having been exported properly.


And waiting for XenForo to lock down version 2.1
And that should be it.

MAJOR UPDATE.


XENFORO JUST WENT TO GOLD ON RELEASE V2.1
We have been waiting for the Beta-Testing to finish for months now.

This was the last major block of code we have been waiting on.


Migration of the SnoWest Forums from vBulletin to XenForo is now in sight!:face-icon-small-hap
 
We will now...


#1. Upgrade the Test forums from V2.0 to V2.1


#2. Upgrade 7 major "Ad-Ons" to be compatible with V2.1


#3. Do one more full import of the current database to make sure there are NO Export-Conversion-Import Errors.


#4. Confirm the Premium Membership system is functioning on V2.1


#5. Confirm all of Harris Publishing's advertisements are properly working in the header and sidebar areas of the forum for Free Non-Paid members.




And lastly.
Pull the trigger on the final 96 hour roll over and get us OFF this old platform!!:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap

two steps forward, one step back.
Every single time we synchronize the database from the old to the new, the whole damn thing blows up in our face.


I can not even beging to express the level of frustration we have experienced.


I may have real news to share by the end of this week.
