Why not just frame it, put it in, then block it off. Or at least frame it so that you can easily cut it open and put one in without a lot of work..

For resale? I have a feeling he is in this house for the long haul, and the next time he gets something he will be downsizing, since his kids are out of the nest in seven or so years. Not a bad idea though, although the sheeting is on and the cedar shakes are installed. When the inside is finished, the interior of that wall is going to be awesome. It is a big space that will be covered with dead stuff and have some good interior lighting on it. You kind of have to be in it to get the scale of how tall the ceilings are how big that wall is. In a perfect world I would have framed in a long, narrow, window and put a motorized shade in. It would have been around an extra 3-4k to do that though. Plus, he is really ambitious and thinks that wall will be covered in mounts and may not want a window getting in his way. His daughters are becoming quite lethal...
