M9000 question

Riding my new M9000 around the yard, this thing makes a HORRIBLE sound when letting off the gas, I assume it is the BOV, is it normal to sound that way? Sounds like a clutch grinding on something, it is so loud. Just want to make sure it is normal before riding it, the setup from the dealer was questionable based on the tightness of some of the bolts I have checked, and they are closed for the weekend.

The BOV does NOT make a grinding noise. It is a whistle or a capushhhhh! A grinding noise is more than likely drivetrain related.

Hmm, it is supposed to sound like the BOV in my supercharged F150 then, I know that sound. I just rode it again and didn't notice it this time.

Something isn't right. Can anyone listen to this vid and tell me what this sound is? Someone suggested a BOV problem. I put some miles on it, first time I got in some fluff and started up a hill it started to lose power and backfire. (Is that something Cat puts in the ECU to keep people from getting on the gas too hard before breakin is complete?) I probably got on more than half throttle. Tried it again on the trail, same thing, backfire, stuttering, power goes away.
Trying to figure if this thing needs to go to dealer or if I can ride it for next two days as planned.

It isn't very snappy, the idle is bad at times, and it will bog sometimes from an idle. The noise is bothersome, almost like a metallic squeak when chopping throttle after holding it at 1/2 for a second or two. (In the vid, that was half throttle.)
They told me they did the update, I didn't pay attention to what it was, something to do with the turbo, I am wondering if they screwed something up.
The noise comes from the front right or the right side intake, can't tell for sure.

your last video doesn't work and if your sled is stock there Is only a right side intake the left is a dummy if more so on the right id venture to say the chaincase area and I just had mine in and the only update/recall was for the reverse gear off the servo so id be care full how much you ride it

It is brand new, picked it up yesterday. She said there was only one update, showed me the sheet but I was counting cash and didn't look at it, lol. Thought it had something to do with a valve, but could be wrong.

Could be a boost leak all hoses hooked up to the sensors above the clutch cover? Is the hose pushed all the way into the back of the air filter? Your video sounded normal but it is hard to tell in a video I couldn't get the other two to open. Are you getting any codes or wrenches on the gauge?

So any ideas on the backfiring/power loss under more than half throttle/load? Hopefully it is a breakin thing, it only had 21 miles on it when it did it. ??

If the engine is not warmed up completely before take-off, it will not rev above a certain limit, and can sound funky. On the flip...if the engine gets too hot, it will start to surge and cut power. Let it get hot enough, and engine shuts itself off.

After watching the vid I found, my BOV sounds normal. No codes or wrenches, I was watching for it. I have it thawing, going to pull the hood and look for something, the backfiring and power loss is worrying me.

It was acting like it was hot, with your description, but I had just done some fluffy riding so I can't see that.
So nothing built-in to the ecu to keep us from running them too hard too early?
