M8 or XP

I have a little different opinion on the m8 trail performance. I have to say that I have never ridden a Poo or Doo on the trails - it sounds like they have a nice ride. My background is mostly mountain riding, but I've also done sno cross and cross country. I feel that I have good experience as to what a well set up sled rides like on the rough trails. I agree that a cat is harsh on chop, etc if traveling a slow to moderate speed, but I have always been amazed at how well the M-sleds handle the rough stuff when attacking it. These sleds have actually made me look foreward to the ride in and out because I know I am going to enjoy how the sled performs when pushed. The Doo and Poo may be that good too - I don't know. The M-sleds also give me a lot of confidence when attacking the bottom of a whooped out approach to a big climb. I feel that the chassis works better the harder it is pushed.

M8

I had my first significant ride on my 2010 M8 2 days ago and I'm still smiling. So easy to throw this around and carve. My friend with an '08xp was along and we switched for a while and there is absolutely nothing about the xp that I liked compared to the M8. For those that would say i need to give the xp a chance, I owned an xp for 400mi and an '07 summit prior to that and this was my first ride ever on an M8. Forgot how hard the xp was to carve with till 2 days ago. You made the right choice IMO.

on the 2010 m8 drop the air in the rear shock to 125-130 on the trail it will ride a little better. pump it back up to 150 on the mountain and it will climb better
