hi
anyone else not happy with the fit on the new super q
now it oval and looks like a car muffler
cant make it fit with a aftermarket pipe and does not fit well with a stock pipe
called skinz about it says they will call me back that was a few hours ago

I've got the ultra Q. My only complaints are that there is no attachment point at the top of the can, and the black "high temp coating" is complete ****. Wish I would have ordered the ceramic one, but wanted it black.

Jim
I reserched the super Q last week and everybody I talked to said the one you have is what they have always made. I told them I was looking for the one similar to the 1000. I looked into a jaws. But am leaving my stock can on until I have my sled tuned in. Had to buy the new Boondocker box.

i finnaly talked to some one at skinz and he says they changed the design so it would fit better and have not have any problems told him what was going on and they are building the smaller round style for me and also going to flow test both so i know witch one flows more cfm

Jim, the one you have (the new oval shape) is the one we tested summer before last, that started last year on Abby's sled, on hers it lost 40 rpm (compared with the super-Q that she has), on Shanny's it ran even, not sure why the difference.
I know this was the 1000 version, not the 700 version, but I think the general build is likely the same.

yeah not real impressed with there new design i think they are trying to use the same can on all there sleds wether they run well or not
