My dealer told me I won't get the full 177 hp until the 600 miles is reached. Does anybody no if this is true or theory ?

I don't think so....

As far as I can tell there is no chip to so call burn out at a magic milage. It will however free up a bit as the newness wears off.
Just take it easy on it for the first hundred miles or so then change the oil.

I have never felt a sled pull as hard as my M1100T. I can't imagine more power out of a stock sled. I doubt you will see much more at 600 miles. Like High Time said, might be a little looser.

I broke in every 4 stroke motocross bike I've had this way. Each one has run perfectly and forever. I'd never break in a 4-stroke any other way. Maybe you make this biggest power at 600 miles but doubt it's much more...don't know why you would. Biggest key IMO is to change oil right away. Each bike had flakes of metal in oil filter. Oh, I also only used a stainless fine mesh filter in each one...never starves it and get smaller stuff. Don't know what cat has for filters.

It's very important to run the first tank of oil that comes in it, every 4s I've seen uses a break in oil that has bunch of additives in it to help with the break in period!

rode the 1100 T for the first time last night, all im going to say is, IM IMPRESSED. i expected it to feel a lot heavier, and have a lot less pull!!! this thing is crazy fast, even at 1/4 throttle it feels like an 800 at 3/4..
