M1000 Turbo?

You can see Story's sled in the raffle thread in the general section. It is an OVS turbo system, custom though... Product Tester is Shane Stanger the owner of twisted turbo. Both good setups. No personal experience with either. There is already an m1000 turbo thread going, try reading some of the existing threads in this section.

No one said a m8 at 4.5 pounds makes 350 hp (that was some jerk bashing Shain) its impossible. You need to do some more reading and get some sort of clue before you post so you dont sound like a tard. Maybe then some one will take you seriously.
Checked out Brad Story's sled and I think that I will probably go with the OVS kit for the M8. If the Twisted kit won't put out 350 Horsepower like I was told and read about, then I don't want to go with it.
From the sounds of your intellect, Twisted would probably rather you go with the OVS too. A win win for everyone.

dude you sound like a 4 yr old...good luck making any turbo kit work for you, if i were you id focus on other things in life, like labeling your boots "L" for Left and "R" for right, learn the small stuff first my gentle snowflake

ok brad is running a ovs kit and if you want power on pump gas ovs is making a pumpgas m12t and i am not a bs'er i have talked to travis and gar about it over the phone you can phone and ask about it im not sure if there still gonna come out with it or not but if they do by the way your talking thats the route id be heading in

This is not a bash. But if you truly believed that a turbo system, on an M8, at only 4lbs. of boost, would even remotely be able to push 300+HP, then you need to do a little more research. No where did Shain EVER say he had an M8 pushing that kind of HP at that boost level. For that matter, I can not find anywhere that he posted anything even close to 350HP out of an M8. At any boost level.
These threads are getting a little "silly" that's for sure. I can not believe I actually replied to this one, LOL. Hook, line and sinker. You got me.

Don't take it to Heart when people beat up on you. Just remember that is how the Twisted Nation operates on these forums. If you disagree by going with a OVS kit, it will make them very mad and they will start bashing and calling you names. It would be wise to not post anymore replies and move on to purchasing what ever kit your going to buy. Otherwise, you will get hammered.

Hey Blart i got the perfect kit for you, Me and my brother just took the turbo of our C18 Cat Semi motor and we plumbed it up to our custom over bored 2000cc race M 1K. It makes 1000hp at 3.2 psi, and were only charging 3500 buck. This kit also weighs 70 lbs less then the stock motor (Its completely titanium). Brads sled wont even touch this thing, Think how cool you would be.

We're a bunch of clowns?? You're the one that sounds like a clown. No sled would be able to put out 350hp on 4.5 lbs...let alone an M8. Truthfully from the sounds of it you don't need to have a turbo on your sled. You'll be putting your and others safety at risk by doing so. Perhaps a 1200bb would be more up your alley. Not Trying to be rude or anything. Just trying to aire on the side of caution is all.
It's pretty sad when people get on here to bash Shain, I think they are jealous with the success that Shain has had with Twisted, Shain works his butt off, puts in a ton of hours, and has given up alot to make this work, he will do anything to make a customer happy and if a problem ever comes up he takes care of it asap, I have seen him take parts off his own sled to get a customer up and running even if it means that Shain will miss a day or two of riding. THATS what I call customer service!

Why didn't someone say that earlier...instead of getting upset at me. All I really wanted to know if all that was really true. I am going to buy a kit for my M1000 I am leaning toward a OVS kit cause I really like Brad Story, but if the twisted kits are better and faster, then I would like to get a twisted. Instead of answering questions, everyone assumed that I am an idiot. Can he service me in Spokane?

if you could even beleive an M8 could make 350 hp on 4.5#.... you should enroll in kindegarden. maybe on 16-18# maybe you could be up there sorta close.
you seemed to take every single comment someone makes, sarcastic or not and take it as the truth, then sound AMAZED when someone says something else. ever heard of search? you want to find out cost of twisted turbo stuff? google it, find his website and look up costs, its really simple.
there are 2-3 other threads on the same page that discuss this and you started a new one to keep repeating the same misinformation?

I will try to explain to you why you are getting bashed without making fun of you anymore. You want a turbo, that is fine, but from what you posting it is clear that you have 0 mechanical knowlage let alone the skills to tune and run a turbo. Its also clear that you have no idea what a turbo sled is capable of and it almost sounds like you dont real ride at all. With all that said, your on here saying you want the exact same sled as brad story, one of the best tunners and riders in the world. His sled is setup to run on the raged edge of performance and will require alot of matainace and tunning, and your not capable of either. Your just real coming off as a poser. Im not trying to make fun of you, its just how I see it. Do some searchs so when you post you at least make sense.
At Least your trying to be honest and not a prick. I do have mechanical skills. I am a car mechanic by trade, a damn good one at that. However, the turbo world is new to me on 2 strokes. That is why I want one. To learn how to tune one. I just want one that is reliable, and I want the best. Keep in mind that it is for my wife. She is a really good rider.
