LTS January 2013 Snow Conditions

Here we are Happy New Year. The snow for this time of year is A+. It's still cold so that's keeping the snow fresh. Got the email last night Mike and Reno Tom are coming out today. Great a real ride, no rookies. We deceided to head out to the Buttes. 2 miles out I look back and no one there. Went back and Mikes Cat locked up. I had to ride today so Mike got to ride my Dragon. The first pic you can is Mt. Lassen in the back ground. Pic two was at Glacier lake. Pic 3 was overlooking the Buttes. Pic 4 dead Cat on the way home. We had an Awesome day. Let's hope 2013 continues to be a great year.

I think Mike's Cat is getting a little tired of dragging his big a** around. He's lucky it didn't puke at Glacier. It's good to get lucky even in bad situations.

With no new snow in the last week not much to report. Snow is set up but stiil great. Matt's got all the trails groomed as good as it gets. Smooth. I need to get my Pro back. My back up sled's kiling me.

Steve, You look great on Pantrera, It" s the way we all started out. It gets you across the Snow and is not in the Shop all the time. Your Back Up Sled is Great.

Just got home. It started snowing at the parking lot when we left. By the time we got home it was dumping. Looks like tomorrow we should have some fresh snow to ride on. Ill let every one know how much snow we get in the morning.

I will be interested in the amounts since the forecast was for just a few inches and then a very cold next couple day.

New Snow

We got 8" of new fluffy snow last night here at the house. My son off to work early this morning putting down the first tracks.

Thanks for the offer kidwow. If you look closely at me on my cat I have a Corona Light in my hand. Went up Bald Ridge Loop yesterday in my Jeep and there was at least a foot. We got another 4" to 5" here at the house today so up top there has to be 2 feet+ of new snow. With the cold temps tonight tomorrow's going to be awesome. I am heading out to the Buttes tomorrow. See everyone out there.

I woke up today and wow a Blue Bird day but -14. Awesome day with about a good foot of fresh powder on top of a great base. Football or Snowmobile. Snowmobile wins here we're riding tomorrow.

Got my Pro back. We went out yesterday and the snow is holding up extremely well. It's more like spring conditions. Hard in the morning and soft in the afternoon. Tree riding was awesome. Hope we get new snow soon.

My house is at 6850.. Just got in tonight and raining. Looks wet up top too. 30 out right now. We need some of the cold temps back. Snow was soft on the way home tonight. Jeep was working hard. I hope we get some snow out of this next storm.

It is suppose to get cold starting Monday.

Forecasters are not very encouraged about any future moisture.

Storm right now is SOUTH of bakersfiels and North into Oregon.

Snowed last night. We got 4" of new. Hope there's more up top. Better then rain.
