Love the motor hate the ride?

K mod w raptors... All you need to know... Can even do 37" front. Pm me or call 509-881-5136

I second what he said ^^^^. My stock '16 skid never saw snow. It's had a tricked out Kmod under it well before the snow fell. I will never ride a Pro-RMK with a stock skid, ever.

Try the progressive stainless spring from RCS
Its the best thing to happen to coil over rear skids.

Soft in the chatter, nearly impossible to bottom, high ride height.
Controls wheelie (but still will with a step back)
I'm 220 without gear.
Stock would never quit wheeling over backwards. (In the steep)

I ended up getting an offer too good to pass up and picked up a full set of Elka Stage 5's custom setup from the factory. Waiting for them to show right now but very curious what some aggressive damping as well as fully adjustable high and low speed damping.

I enjoy how an axys feels when the OEM shocks are new but honestly after even 200 miles I could already feel the oil giving up and by 500 the stock shocks are basically pogo sticks with no damping. Im only like 155# in street clothes and I blow thru the stroke with ease, even with spring pressures jacked way up. I also cannot stand how the sled completely fails to transfer with the RTS super stiff. It climbs great but it really looses its fun factor when boondocking.

I guess this is the hard part about wanting a race sled on the trail and in the air but an RMK when im in the woods.

Personally If I could only swap one shock on the sled it would be the rear track shock. I dont know how people can ride the stock one, especially bigger dudes.

I have all 4 revalved with 130# ti front springs.
We clickers.

That progressive spring is the key to transfer, anti bottom and wheelie control

About the ride, anyone have anything to say about sidehilling the Axys? I know the stock shocks don't help this, but wondering if the increased height of the Axys chassi has a down side..

Ride together with my old pro with good shocks, narrower bars and offset spindles. That thing sides like a dream!
